APL Energy: Bridging the gap between groundbreaking research and technological innovation<\/em><\/p>\n

The new journal from AIP Publishing: APL Energy <\/i><\/b>was introduced by its \u00a0Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Monica Lira-Cantu. The scientific vision of the journal was presented, as well as its main objectives and article types. APL Energy<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/b>will feature research related to energy and the integration of different energy technologies. It covers different areas of energy research and applications, from materials for energy and energy sources, applications of energy generation, storage and harvesting, including renewable energy and sustainability. A new article type was also introduced, the \u201cProof of Concepts and Prototypes\u201d, which provides a brief description of an already demonstrated or intellectual property (IP) protected idea and its pathway to commercial viability.<\/p>\n
