The selected candidate will work on the research on technologies for nanostructuring electrodes in energy storage applications.<\/p>\n<h4>Research Focus<\/h4>\n<p>The project aims at investigating the technologies to produce nanostructured electrodes using nanoporous anodic alumina (NAA) as a template. The research will combine technology develpoment, electrode production and energy storage deveice preparation and characterization.<\/p>\n<h4>Key topics include:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; Electrochemical processes to prepare nanostructured samples<br \/>\n&#8211; Good knowledge of characterization techniques: SEM, Potentiostat<br \/>\n&#8211; Data analysis skills<\/p>\n<h4>Candidate Profile<\/h4>\n<p>We seek a motivated and curious researcher passionate about renewable energy and materials science.<\/p>\n<h4>Requirements include:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>MSc degree (or equivalent) in Physics, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in electrochemistry<\/li>\n<li>Experience in laboratory work and data analysis and interpretation<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What We Offer<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A fully funded up to 4 years PhD position within the Mart\u00ed i Franqu\u00e8s Program (official call opening TBA-summer 2026)<\/li>\n<li>Access to state-of-the-art facilities for fabrication and characterization of solar cells<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration opportunities with leading European research groups<\/li>\n<li>Living and working in Tarragona, a Mediterranean city with a high quality of life and rich cultural heritage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Application<\/h4>\n<p>At this stage, the call Marti i Franques Program is close to be open.
