Prof. Osbel Almora

Bio and research interests

Dr. Osbel Almora completed his PhD (2020) at the Friedrich Alexander Universität (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló (2020-2022), and Universidad Pablo de Olavide of Seville (2022), Spain. In 2023, as a Juan de La Cierva Postdoctoral Fellow, he joined the Universitat Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona where he currently holds a Tenure Track (Lector) Professor position since 2025. His research activities focus on characterization and modeling of semiconductor and energy devices, including, solar cells, X-ray detectors, light emitting diodes, and pseudocapacitors.
